Angle-Azimuth MWD
Gearhart’s Angle-Azimuth MWD survey tool is an unmanned tool that surveys on connection and can be run by the rig crew. It is a retrievable tool that pumps up angle-azimuth on connection and uses the Tru-Shot sensor package for guaranteed accuracy. The tool can be programmed to provide full directional surveys and real-time toolface telemetry.

Angle-only MWD
The Gearhart Angle-only MWD system is a positive-pulse retrievable MWD tool that provides the driller with accurate borehole inclination measurements on a dedicated surface display system pumped up after each connection. The surface system has automatic detection and decoding. The tool uses the latest solid state Geo-Shot sensors.
